— Concentration in Wireless Computer Forensics
With cyber-crime on the rise and an increasing demand for network security, the U.S. Department of Labor predicts that job opportunities for network administrators and specialists will grow much faster than the average for all occupations through 2014. Cyber-crimes also have created a need for forensic experts who are capable of effectively gathering evidence from computers, cell phones, and other wireless devices to help prosecute these crimes.
AIU’s Master of Information Technology (MIT) with a concentration in Wireless Computer Forensics was created in response to this growing need. The program is designed to combine essential technology skills and forensic techniques with business and management skills to help prepare students to pursue positions in this growing field.
Upper-level concentration courses in this degree program include Cell Forensics, PDA Forensics and Special Topics in Computer Forensics.
