Master of Business Administration
— Concentration in Operations Management
All organizations have specific goals and objectives that they strive to meet. Top executives devise strategies and formulate policies to ensure that these objectives are achieved.
General and operations managers plan, direct or coordinate the operations of companies or public and private sector organizations. Their duties include managing daily operations and planning the use of materials and human resources, but are too diverse and general in nature to be classified in any one area of management or administration. In some organizations, the duties of general and operations managers may overlap the duties of chief executive officers.
